Post Blazers' HOT- needs AC!

I know several people have put aftermarket AC systems in their trucks(old air, vintage air), but how well do these work in blazers? Does anyone know if AC in blazers was ever efficient? I'm going to put air in mine and wanted to know if there was a unit made for the larger vehicles( blazer, suburban). Anyone have any of the units or original AC in your blazer? How's it do? I can take to top off, but on a 100 degree day all the air you get is hot!
Thanks,
Matthew
