3/4 ton, UNRETOUCHED, 12" dog dish hubcaps

SOLD, SOLD , SOLD! Price Dropped to $185 shipped CONUS.

The faces of these caps are in great condition - especially for a painted set. All the black paint lines remain unfaded and retains their crisp look. THERE ARE NO DENTS. The outer white paint has some chips. You can see it all in the pics as I tried to take clear ones.

The pics below also focus in on the chips that exist to provide an accurate understanding of what you are getting. These are not perfect, but are as good as I have seen posted most places.

Asking (...EDITED: $200 shipped).

These have not been repainted, or retouched, in any way. All I did was wash them up and spray a little carnuba wax on them to seal up the chips.

Only one has a chip on the center black circle. All have clean bowties. A closeup of that chip will follow in the second post.

These hubcaps came off of an unmodified 1972 C20 Suburban that was sitting unused in NH for a long time. I realize that most say yellow bowties are '73 forward, and who actually knows, but these were taken off of a '72. Debate it all you want.

As you will see in the pics of the backs, in the second post, there is a lot of surface rust due to sitting on the wheels for so long. There is NO rust through.

Re: 3/4 ton, UNRETOUCHED, 12" dog dish hubcaps

Here are the additional pics. The last two shows the only chip in a center - one is a close-up.

I also took a close up of the worst spot on the back. I think this should be sanded and painted to prevent it from becoming worse. One of the other backs has 3 circles that are old spider egg sacs, not rust.

All the backs have the number 326839 written on the back of them in black marker. Unsure if that is a part number or what.

Those are 73-up, but the blue bow tie is easy to paint on, as well as convexing the centers.

Re: 3/4 ton, UNRETOUCHED, 12" dog dish hubcaps

BADAZ, not sure if they are "deep dish" but they came off of a C20 Sub and fit on my K20 Sub (rear) which has a full floating rear end. If you want I can measure the depth and let you know tomorrow.

Bow ties, how about 200 and you send me a check so I don't have to float the paypal fee?

They are for 16 or 16.5 dia stock c20/30 8 lug wheels. Doesn't have anything to do with width or ho vs dana. Nice caps! Edit: includes K20 also.

Not necessary. I just remember trying to find a set like that to fit my old C20 with the Dana rear end. I finely gave up and just ran it w/o caps until I sold it.

I tried to fit standard caps on my Dana and none were deep enough to fit

Hmm. What year truck and, more importantly, stock wheels on it? I'm assuming you're talking about the 9.75 width wheels. I have never heard of the stock caps not fitting over the D60 rear wheels?? Anyone else got any info regarding this? Thx for posting badaz, interested in others' 2 cents.

Nice caps chewie, by the way. These will look great on someone's truck.

I had stock 16" rims. The caps I tried to use looked just like these but the center didn't stick out as far. These shown would have worked if I could have found a set.

Re: 3/4 ton, UNRETOUCHED, 12" dog dish hubcaps

bowties, I cut you the break that I could. Maybe in a month if I haven't sold them I would be convinced to move some more. Or perhaps I will just cut holes in the front ones, spraypaint them silver, and put them on my K20.

BADAZ, I have seen some 12.5 inch caps from vans in the mid 70s that look like this but were more shallow. Perhaps those were what you had previously. Tonight, for fun, I will mount these on my 16' steelies with full floating hubs and post the pics up.

Here is a pic of the 16" steel wheels with full floating hubs (GM, not Dana - I think) on my '71 K20 Sub with the white cap and then with a banged up chrome cap.

Further out shot. White pops better I think, but the paint on the chrome one is faded. I am going to paint the chrome caps silver and repaint the spoke black and bowtie blue.

Re: 3/4 ton, UNRETOUCHED, 12" dog dish hubcaps

These hubcaps are from 73-75 when only 14-bolts were used. Wheels have nothing to do with it. All wheels are against the drum and hubcaps located in the same distance from the drum. The issue is how fr the hub protrudes. I've heard people have problems putting the concave 73-75s on Dana 60s,but I have the stainless ones on my '72 K2500 w/Dana 60. So,can't explain that one
