Reproduction exterior Door Handles - any good?

I'm working on fitting out the doors on my 87' for my build. The exterior handles I have are pitted pretty bad. I see that all the major venders sell handles pretty cheap ($20ish per side). Anyone have experience with these? Are they made of metal like the GM ones? My experience with the aftermarket is that the products are very hit or miss. Would love some input from someone that have bought these.

Have been using mine for almost 2 years. Seems good, no problems. Got mine from LMC.

Do the aftermarket ones seem to be the same construction materials as the originals?

Not sure what your budget is but gsimfab.com makes some really nice looking billet pieces. Lots of options on finished too. I plane to use those in my build when the time comes.

I did not do a indepth inspection. But I did compare and they seem to be of the same quality as the originals. For the price, I thought they were good. No issues installing. Only problem I had was the clip on the door latch broke several months later. Do your self a favor and buy new ones.
