What does "snipped the image" mean? I would think the vertical dimensions, for instance, would just be one number (i.e., your measurement), not a pair of numbers that vary about 3/4". (Seems I have more comprehension problems as I get older...
 )

That image was in another thread but it had a Photobucket watermark across part of it making it hard to read so I asked for one without the watermark. The two dimensions vertically are measuring from different points as noted in the cross-section key on the right. Its a little confusing at first because it looks like some of the lines are connected but they shouldn't be. These are measurements of the windshield opening, not the windshield itself.

Thanks for the visual explanation! I continue to have trouble fitting a Taiwanese w/s to my cab (second gasket, second windshield). As it turns out, according to the drawings shown here, it appears my cab was chopped about 3/16" at the factory. I'll be grinding the top corners of the w/s soon. As I once heard Tommy Smothers say on his show: "If it don't fit, force it!"

Glad it was helpful, I had to cut the image out of the photobucket account since I could not find the original. The dimensions from my cab are for reference. I know the history of the truck back to 1961. Its never had accident damage to the cab that would affect the windshield dimensions.
I must replace my windshield as well, so I am hoping I will not have fitment problems.
