Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

I'm a little skeptical also - although I didn't want to say that in case it was a member.. BUT, I did notice that there were external pics in front of the house and also pics from inside the garage looking out at the same neighborhood - not exactly an angle the average scammer or passerby could snap a pic from and then post an ad for. But who knows - as always, buyer beware.

WARNING: This 70 C10 CST listed for $17k on CL...
Is the exact same truck as this truck listed for $40k at a reputable South Dakota dealership (that we just happen to be discussing in a separate thread in case you missed it)
Posting just in case anyone happens to see what I can only assume is a bogus CL ad.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

This would be fantastic restored…

https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/re...649725115.html

1968 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 - $8,500 (Reno)

4spd manual transmission. Sweet running 6 cyl engine. 292ci I think but not sure. Fully functional PTO winch on heavy duty bumper. Mostly original and unmolested. Cab looks to be original paint. Bed looks to have been replaced at some point and painted to match. Runs great and shifts through all the gears but the clutch is slipping. Some rust in the areas that you would expect, but not a rust bucket by any means. Dents on top of cab from homemade lumber rack. Clean title. Have front original hubcaps.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

https://bellingham.craigslist.org/ct...641011295.html 1967 GMC 2wd long bed, in-line 6, 3 on the tree, runs and drives! Lowered a couple inches, comes with a rear step bumper and a roll pan, pick what you want. Has some rust here and there but is very straight. We make no great claims about this truck, it’s a drivable project that we just need to send on to the next guy. LS swap it or just drive it as is

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Have a 68 GMC short stepside for sale mayb trade.
454 T400
Needs heater core replaced, comes with new 1
New aluminum radiator
Bed is near perfect but Needs wood in the bed. Rails are there.
Trans needs works. runs and drives but won't shift have to manually shift it. Governor mayb?
Seat was just recovered has nice stereo blue tooth capable
. Runs amazing no smoke. Wheelwells are out but have them one has a small rust hole.. Turns heads everywhere we take it.
Nice project or mayb ratrod. Lots of power very fun to drive. These trucks do nothing but go up in value. Price reflects work that it needs.
Would consider trading for 67 -72 4x4 Mayb the right square body 4x4 or old muscle car, hotrod?
12,000.00 trade value 10k cash .will not go lower on price .am in no hurry to sell . I don't need help selling . If add is up its still available please don't text and ask if its available. Scammers take the good out of everything

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d...647142612.html Let's go for a ride!

Factory bells and whistles galore!!!

1968 Chevy CST Shortbed......... Rebuilt 327/350 turbo auto., Rebuilt 3:08 Posi, PS, PDB, AC cab (non op) Bucket Seats, Tilt Column, Tachometer, SoftRay Tinted Glass, New Coker Tires, Dual Exhaust, New Brakes....... plus much more! Very minor almost non-existence area of rust, but the cleanest rockers, cab corners and floors on a 55-year old factory painted truck, plus no radio cut out or unsightly speaker cut outs! Definitely worth taking a look at....... Looks awesome as is with a slight lowered (correctly, with CPP components) stance. Turns a lot of heads wherever it goes. Look around something very stock this nice is hard to find nowadays. No hurry to sell, $43K is the asking price but will negotiate some with a cash in hand buyer! This is a beautiful truck!!!
Anyone with any questions please call show contact info or (209) six58-401six ......No texts or Emails please! No trades on the one,

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/c...646381598.html Absolutely beautiful custom truck. No expense spared to build. 7400 miles on the ground up complete build. Powder coated frame, suspension parts, and every other part possible. Late model direct injected L83 5.3 aluminum V8. 400 horsepower. 6L80E automatic 6 speed trans. Paddle shifters with 3 modes. Rare and valuable genuine Halibrand wheels. Although most might want to upgrade to more modern and larger wheels which would make this truck look much different. Custom upholstery and interior. (After purchasing the late model seats and console). Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes. Ford 9" rear end. Wilwood front drop spindles for a great ride height. Vintage AC. All new wiring when built. Dakota digital dash. Stainless fuel tank with in tank pump. All glass was replaced. All chrome was redone. Cruise control. Bed storage box. This was a ground up build with no expense sparred. Truck was built at Chucks Speed Center. 56 years in business and highly respected. Our shop specializes in these types of vehicles. This was one of Chucks personal vehicles. He was beyond meticulous and would spend many hours on every facet of what he built. Never worrying about time to get it right. Truck did appraise for $90,300 in February of 2023.
