Absolutely

Of course under use could be bad too.

I was asked elsewhere, what treasures I brought back this year.

Some of you know the randomness of my collections.

Some will recall that I have an unfinished 1966 Chevy C10 truck to restore in my garage.

Got a few bits for the truck too.

Not right, but right enough, should I choose to fit it.

Truck parts.

Thanks to Dennis. He won’t be needing most of these with his NASCAR C10 build.

Which he has started messing with again.

My truck never had a rear view mirror.

Made some cool stuff at Andy’s place in Oklahoma again.

One cross for Sally too.

License plates, old story.

New Missouri plate from Adams Hellcat that he sold as he was not using it.

So there you go.

Treasures.

Rian , I agree , being sick sucks big time . I had what I thought was a cold that kept getting worse . Went to Dr and had a bad sinus infection , 2 weeks of meds later and it's almost gone now . The meds sucked too as I was exhausted and they wound me up like speed , very little sleep that week. I'm finally getting about 5 hours of sleep per night . Hope you feel better soon .

Weird how over here they become worthless mostly..

So Sally supervised, helped and mocked me all day, well, after 12.00 when my guest Michael who also has a bunch of older aircooked VW’s including a split bus.

He came from Southend to collect the Hazet trolley and another toolbox I had.

Two hours later he left.

I really love this community, we are all connected.

After a cuppa and chat with Sally, we headed down to start the slow ask of sorting, packing and clearing logically the work benches in the garage.

Paint cans for storing.

SomI used a modern woodworkers vies.

One of the jobs was to make a safer step for the caravan using some Oak that we already inside of Prozac for the tip.

Through the day I was chatting with Andy “OldIronFarmer” in Oklahoma and Sennis in St Louis.

All good.

Andy also shared this lovely seat tree he had seen.

One of the jobs was to create space for my panel beaters hammers and dolly’s.

It is great having company in the form of Sally and also Harley, who always comes to wherever I am busy.

Security cat seems to approve too.

And lastly, painted this guy and put him at the door.

Closed shop before 4pm as I had had enough.

Tired again.

Absolutely

It took two adjustments to get to where we are now. With the meds, and I do feel better.

Thank you John.

Me too.

I love technology

Another small thing to add to the wrap up of this cardiac event and the angiogram
One of the things done at the cathlab is “Heparinising” where heparin is introduced (injected) toward the end, to prevent clot formation on any of the catheters inside the heart vessels to prevent heart attack or stroke.
It means when the sheath is removed one can bleed a lot.
These are used at the entry site as its an artery and arterial pressure is high.
Inflated, the cuff is left on for two hours, pressure reduced in small increments every 15 minutes.

After discharge, Sally picked me up and brought me home.

I found a card and delivered at the back door some “flowers” chocolates and a note from work.
Very touched by that.

Enough stuff for many lifetimes.

But like many hoarders, even getting one done is an achievement

Part two....

Same barn as the Russian and many others........

Read the details

Tax disc was last renewed by Bob in 1970, NSU Quicky he used to get to work.

Still owns it and hates it as much as back then..... 50 years ago.

More random pics.

Swage block...... a blacksmiths forming tool.

PaulY needs this.

I wanted this.

And lastly, Massey Ferguson, known as Old Smokey....Bobs retirement gift.

More from this treasure trove another day.

Rovers, Austins, Land Rovers, tractors, tractors, tractors, bicycles, machines....

Enough to keep most people happy a long time.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

ISOLATION

ALONE

SOLO

Been staying in touch with our man Andy in Tulsa, Oklahoma

He is looking after his health, staying alone, avoiding potential infections.

At over 70 years of age, his risk is increased.

Today he was making hay.

Maybe too soon though.

Dodge was not able.

Dodge and FJ together failed.

Up to the plate stepped a 72 year old.......

Ready to save the day.

Pushing and pulling

Hero of the day.

It was a good day for Andy.

Hard to believe it's only 72. My grandfather had an IH Farm-all 200 that looked very similar except the two front wheels were under the nose.

Love those, my uncle had one on the farm about 50 years ago when we were kids.

Still love the design and look of them..

Some random COVID 19 stuff done this week, outside of work.

Cut the lawn, and noticed just how bad my driveway looks....

Big difference.

Amazed how mossy the house walls were too.

Overdue for paint, since I did it in 2012 whenmI was unemployed.

Quick break for a coffee inbetween, dirty feet, thanks to back spray.

Cutting the edges in.

Every paver has to be individually done. Kills time, kills your back, shoulders and even your hands on the trigger.

Job done from side gate to street, took two days, paving still drying out.

Sunset......

Hey Rian , a trick I use with my pressure washer handle with extended use is to use a plastic Zip Tie just tight enough to hold the trigger while washing but can easily slide back when you need to stop . I swear by it .

Thank you for the reply and comments Travis,

Interior is “full of stuff” but cannot be completed because Dennis needs to buy a load of hardwood flooring to lay down.

Re: GRIZZ’s ‘79 - 2WD BLAZER Challenge over in London, England. “~It’s not a Project

Knowing how many of us like weird or slightly different things.

Not sure if I should add this one here.

Ford Transit Connect, launched 2002-ish in the UK.

Mate Tim likes them and is hoping to bring the Connect 6 he is building to the rescheduled gathering at Goodwood in July.

Previous creations include a Subaru Brat

https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread...r-spots-fitted

And a Chevy C10 camper.

https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread...camper-special

So when a 2002 Connect passed his radar.......

A plan was hatched.

Few random pics from Tim, in case people are interested in more.

Alongside his V12 XJS future project.

His daily is a 2007 with a chunk of older Connect converted to a trailer for camping.

Thought it may be interesting.
