SWEEEEEEEEEET! Love the look of your engine! Do you have more pics of the rear frame mods? I would love to see more pics of the entire truck.

Re: drag truck progress

Looks Great! What weight are you hoping to get the truck down to? Are you going to run a vacuum pump?

Tg
I'm hoping to get it down to around 2800 with my 200! I have my fingers crossed! I do have a GZ Motorsports vacuum pump.

Is the cage from S&W? If you have more pics of the front end, please post them or e-mail me direct.
Thanks, Looking Good!

Re: drag truck progress

Digging this up for some more info on the front end, I've been thinking about the same setup for my truck. Was wondering if the stance remained the same, as it width wise and how much it lowered the truck, and if you could keep the 5x5 bolt pattern?

I know I could just call Fat Man, or check out there web site, but I also wanted to check on some more progress pics of djracer's truck, been following along and can't wait to see it finished.

Re: drag truck progress

My truck is not 5 on 5 anymore and I think the track width might be a little more narrow than stock. You can get it with or without drop spindles. I think jim meyer makes a similar setup that uses caprice stuff that is 5 on 5!

I went and checked on it tonight they are starting the aluminum work in the bed. I tried a set of hedders that I think will work. I checked my driveshaft and I think it will work also but it needs a different yoke. The one I have is for a turbo 400! I also am going to have to move some tabs and the tranny mount brackets!

Re: drag truck progress

Is it just me, or does a Dominator on top of a big block with a single plane make anyone else wet their skibbys?

DJ, I would almost be willing to drive to Bama just to see that bad boy make a few passes and hear it roar.

Re: drag truck progress

What's up big man?! Truck looks great! I finally got my bell and got the truck going, but I had to take the driveshaft out and have it balanced. Should have it back early next week. Maybe I'll drop by your house in it and give ya a peek. Later, Neil.
