Trans case torque bracket?

I would guess one of these is for a rockwell and one for a 205. Looks like everything lines up either way. Would it make a difference which one is used for a 205?

Re: Trans case torque bracket?

I don't think I've ever seen one on a rockwell case. Maybe just a different year or maybe one of them is for a square body

Re: Trans case torque bracket?

I'm going with one is square body and one is 72 and older as well. My mom has a 73 Jimmy that I know for a fact has one on it, but I never looked at them side by side to see a difference.

Re: Trans case torque bracket?

The one on the left was on my 69 short 4x4 that had a 350, 3 speed and rockwell. It was so long ago that i stripped it down i can't remember if anything was attached to it. The one on the right came from a 71 blazer with a 350, auto and 205 iirc.
