1970 CST/20 Chevy Truck~What does the 8400 stand for?

I recently acquired a 1970 CST/20 chevy truck as a trade in the sale of a business, and under the CST/20 on the truck, it has what looks like 8400. What does that stand for. I am trying to put together a full description together so that I can sell the truck, but have no idea what that stands for. You can tell I am new at this. LOL

Probably the GVW of the truck. It would have been added by someone, not factory.

to the forum.

Look more closely.....it's an 8 slightly separated from the 400. It signifies that the truck came with a V8 of 400 cubic inches.

Thanks so much. It is an 8 cylinder, so that makes sense. Appreciate the replies.

From what I was told, the engine was replaced with an incrate 350 a few years back, and has less than 10,000 on the 350.
