Got mine last week. I had it powdercoated silver. What a fine piece of craftsmanship! Thanks.

Dave, is this normal? The filler neck is about 1/8'' to 3/16" low. Greg

Subscribing in case I get lucky on another group buy. This is the tank I'm going with but have a little bit until I have to have it.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
I am soooo glad I used the search feature before purchasing my tank. I will def be purchasing this tank on Nov 29th, what is all I need to do? Do I just place my order online that day and the website will give me the 10% and free shipping?

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
Can this tank be made with a license plate filler?

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
I would totally be in for a license plate filler mount instead of the bed fill. That way I wont have to install a trap door on the wood bed I'm going to be installing.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
Just say the sale. Looks like a good deal. I was wondering if the 67-72 efi would work for my 65. I am putting a 5.3 in it. And does it come with everything I need.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
As an FYI - I used one of these for my '66 half-ton with '95 'Vette LT1 swap. Very happy with it.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
David Boyd-
Tried the 800 number on your website and it says its no longer in service. Im looking for a regular carb aluminum tank for a 1960. Cant hang super low because the truck is bagged. Please call me at my shop at 925-978-0089. Ready to order asap.

Looks like we will be doing some business. I have a '71 K10 shortbed. When I get to that stage of my build, I will send you a pm.
