63 gmc new project

It’s been a few years but I’m back into the game, this time with a gmc. It’s my first gmc and first knee knocker cab. I believe it’s considered at 2500? It’s a 3/4 ton with im assuming the 305 v6. Lots of questions as this is my first jimmy but I’ll just introduce it for now.

Re: 63 gmc new project

Looks to be a nice project truck to start with, the 3\4T GMC's are 1500 series. Its odd with the newer style of naming along with chevy's 10-20-30 but GMC goes 1000-1500-2500.

Re: 63 gmc new project

60-66 3/4 tons are 1500 series. 1000 is 1/2 ton, 2500 is 1 ton. One of the 'GMC' things.
