Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Is the side fill tank a true bolt in on a 1971 swb?

No mods to the frame or bed frames?

Hey Dave, will you be holding any group buy or black friday opportunity this year? If so, I'd like to pre order mine now.

I know you are busy and get these requests all the time, so thanks for taking a minute to respond!

Thanks Dave - I went to that thread to comment and it is marked closed. I like the looks of your Black Friday Ad from last year.

I'll definitely order a fully loaded efi tank at the end of the month if they go on sale.

Do these work with blazers? I don't know if they have the same length available behind the rear axle?

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Sorry Everyone for my lack of responses. I have been pulled in so many directions lately i have not even had a chance to figure out what our holiday work schedule is going to be.

here is what i do know,

-I do have plans to have a sale for black friday through monday this will include the c-10 tanks and others but i have not decided the pricing

- This sale will apply to online orders only during those days.

- since this sale will only apply to online orders during that time frame we will not be able to do Pre-Orders.

I will try to keep everyone updated here and keep an eye on our website.

Dave:

Thanks for the response! Should we plan on seeing something during the traditional Black Friday this year (November 27-November 29)?

Just want to put it in my calendar as to not miss this great opportunity!

What kind of fitting are people using in the bottom bung on an EFI tank? Just a 3/8 NPT plug?

Isn't the bottom bung the feed line? Why would you plug it?

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I asked before but didn't really get responses.

How is everyone handling their bed fill access? Some kind of trap door? Etc.... I need to install my tank but haven't found a great way to do this with my nonexistent fab skills.

Also ready to buy efi setup. If group buy is available? Seems there's a few people ready to buy. Perhaps we can get a list going to gauge interest?
