been too hot here ....gave in and sent this off to blast yesterday no pitting or scaling just surface rust I got tired of grinder wheeling in 95 + heat and humidity

back from Blaster.....he E primed did a test spot with Chassis Satin Black my OCD kicked in and Im scuffing with 400( 0n cooler days/nights ) to get ready for paint

I been spraying one side at a time to control over spray I been baking it in my solar oven...tomorrow ill finish painting cross members last pic is after the blast and epoxy prime

better weather better progress motor on frame for weight drop spindles & springs are in they been sitting on the shelf since 2016 or we would have bit the bullet on coil over

I ran into a road block my engine mounts motor stands that I was so pleased with will not work to far forward they will be on th FS board ...shame on me

thanks for kind words ...I purchased them preformed ( the call it ) prebent from Inline Tube ...they are stainless Im told they are very hard to bend and I know my limitations

mid 70s here yesterday put him on all 4s pushed out to power wash the filth off the floor since all dirty work is complete.... job will get in the way..... traveling this week

getting closer to this frame and suspension drive train portion to completion.... since last post I replaced the PS with new one got all my pulleys lined up new fan on, P coated them along with brackets and flywheel dust cover installed , rebuilt and lined up the Z bar with new linkage made a braided fuel line fuel tank installed and plumbed up to carb Im down to a punch list of about a dozen items

motor is running cab is back from body shop going to figure out the sequence for putting all the guts back in ...I think vent doors first then park brake then clutch and brake pedal ...wait may be put the harness and gauge cluster while none of that bake stuff is in the way and oh yah the wiper motor defrost hoses etc. ....and so it goes...

Glad I checked back in! You've come a long way bud! Your work is spectacular for sure. Is it me or is the forum nearly dead? I would have expected several guys respond to all the work you have accomplished.
