Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

Parts from a 1962 C10 - located in Pittsburgh, PA - pick up or pay shipping and they are yours:

Front spindles & brake drums - 1 spindle almost new, new bearings on both sides

Behind seat fuel tank - tank is solid but does have some interior surface rust

Front chrome bumper - decent chrome but has a bit of a "twist"

Brake & clutch hydraulic master cylinder - surface rust but looks ok inside - 2 yrs old

Steering shaft complete with center joint - need rag joint

Manual steering box - a little loose

Come get what you need - I hate to throw things away - prefer someone uses them

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

Gentlemen, you give me hope for this world. You guys rock. I'll hop in cuz lately, theyre taking up space and i need it to work. What i currently have is:
-Original gas tank out of a 65 with sender, everything works
-Original rear springs
-Heater box with lines
-Steering column out of a 64 (3 on the tree)
-Two 6 lugs wheels with horrid tires, no idea what year theyre off of
When I dig deeper this weekend, ill see what else I have. Currently located in El Paso TX, but i will ship. Side note, im looking for doors, and a cab someone is willing to chop up a little bit, need the cowl vents from top to bottom.
If you want pics, just ask ill happily send them

If you ever happen to make it up to Kansas in the future I would definitely snag that tank from you. Probably not something cost effective to ship.

I'm interested in that Rochester manual. I've got a 4GC that I've been needing to put back together. My memory of the disassembly has faded.

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

Getting rid of a wheel. I don’t know anything about it other than it was in my spare tire rack when I bought the truck. It is not a split rim and it will not fit on disk breaks. It has some surface rust. If nobody takes it it’s going into the trash. I am not willing to ship it. If they look like they are too far gone let me know.

Hey neighbor! If that's a 16" wheel, I'll take it!
If 15", I'll let the next guy have it as I'm presently flush with those.
PM coming.

Is the manual steering box still available? If yes, I'll take it if shipping isn't crazy, say no more than $20. Thanks for paying it forward.

I took a quick look at a stock 15" wheel and it measures the same as yours in the photo. So, I'm going to pass. Thanks though.

1965 283 complete minus frame mounts. "ran when parked" Not seized, has not torn into as I have no interest in it. Have the exhaust manifolds that go with it. Bring a tire to set it on and I'll hoist it up. Includes a complete sm 420 trans. Also have a 89 s10 T5 trans with a .86 overdrive with electric speedo. I think its a world class but would need to double check.
Good T5 info here https://lugnutz65chevystepside.weebl...-page.htmlMust pick up in southern Utah

Damn! I’m in SoCal. I would take this in a minute. Been looking for a v8.
What city are you in?

Edit: I may be able to drive out to you Sunday.

Master cylinder, only used a couple of days.
Just pay shipping, probably about $20.

I think it’s this one: https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/r...e-reman-101329

That’s the number on the sticker. I was converting my 63 to disc brakes and needed a new master cylinder. This one wouldn’t work because the length of my brake pushrod wasn’t right.

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

Factory heating/air conditioning system from a 1964 K20. Pretty much complete.

I removed it from the truck this past spring. An R-12 fitting failed some years back and the system leaked down. Heat still worked and I didn't really need AC in Pennsylvania. But I ended up replacing the entire system with a new Old Air Products system in April just because.

The system as you see it in the pics is complete except for
(1) the original R-12 flexible lines which I threw out some years ago.
(2) the dash defrost fittings which I am using.

I hate to junk it as most of the parts are good and some are very hard to find. But crating it up and shipping it is something I'm really not interested in doing, so shipping is a no. I will load the skid in your pickup or van. I am near Altoona Pennsylvania.

I don't know how to size the image properly on this forum. PM me and I can send additional pics.
