Need a Measurement

I went out last night and had my wife open and close the hood a few times while I watched the rear. It seems, to my eye, that the hood rear goes up and not back at the beginning. The hinges I have are from Eddie Motorsports. They are beautiful, but somewhat pricey. My only complaint is they don't open as far as the originals but tons better in every other aspect. Remember, my hood is pancaked also.

I looked at those hinges and they are very nice.
They are a slightly different design than the stock hinges and may work better because of the pancaked hoods.
Will have to really think about them.
