1990 th400 cooling line fitting questions

Hey fellas I have a th400 that came out of my 1990 c3500 and my question is: can I use the cooling line quick connect fittings from a newer 4l60e or 4l80e? I'm looking to use the complete cooling lines and oem oil cooler from a 1998 k3500 suburban parts truck I have.. seems like I can make it all work I'm just unsure of the quick connect fittings on the transmission side since I'm using the older th400. If anyone has any clue please feel free to chime in and thanks in advance fellas

Re: 1990 th400 cooling line fitting questions

Yes, however the 4L80 has a long and short fitting. Whereas the 4l60 has two short fittings. The thread pitch is all the same 1/4” NPS for 350/400/700/4l60/4l80
