ACC carpet sample

Hi-

I received a carpet sample from ACC and the material looked/felt more like the carpet that's on the door panels rather than what's on the cab floor. Does anyone know if the actual carpet from ACC is different from the samples they send out?

Thanks

Re: ACC carpet sample

ACC (Auto Custom Carpets) used to be owned by a guy named Jack Holland. Back when he owned it, I bought some for a '67 Firebird. He included enough to do the door panels and yes, it was just like the floor carpet in appearance. The carpet for the floor, however, will have a jute backing so it will feel much heavier and should be what you want. I have some in my garage waiting to go into my '69, but it's gonna be a while.
