Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has ever bought anything from Henderson Truck Parts.

The reason I ask is I recently paid for a C10 Cab and Grill from them (about $2k) but am having issues with the shipping. They are in Louisiana and I am in NY. After giving them my money including shipping, the shipping company contacts me and says they need $500 dollars for insurance that will be refunded to me. It seems like a scam since they just want me to trust them and send money electronically. Two things struck me right away; one, why isn't the sender paying for insurance and two, since when would the insurance money be returned on delivery?

I've gone around and around with the shipping guys and they are very aggressive and refuse to give me some kind of paper trail.

Here is a link to the shippers site. It would seem to me for a company like this, they would have some sort of invoice or proof of insurance provided to the customer.

Seems like Henderson may have multiple locations?
Any additional shipping charges, temporary or not, should have been disclosed before taking your money. Seems fishy to me also.
Sure is difficult to find information on Green Cargo Carrier. I found there Corporate motto "Integrity in service is our ongoing pursuit."

Henderson appears to be in NJ ? Not LA ? and a rust free cab and doors for $1,600.00 ? With another listing for a new complete bed for $1,600.00 . It all looks sketchy to me , How did you pay for the cab and grill ? didn't they send you a recipt ?

Greencargo carriers web site is funky and just looks like some shipping broker and their located inFL ?

Post a few pictures of the cab and grill you bought from these guys ? If their selling a rust free cab and doors for $1,600 and a new bed with metal floor and tailgate for $1,500.00 I want them !

The address they give also does not exist.

Thanks everyone for replying.

I paid through paypal. After looking through their site I figured that they were lagit and after several calls with John from Henderson.

As for NJ, he told me they recently moved to LA.

Here are pictures of the cab.

This sucks, I don't know what to do from here if he won't give me my money back. I guess I can start with paypal and see what they can do.

I feel like a sucker.

Have you called the place in NJ ? When shipping something like a cab your probably better off using U-ship at least your dealing with a known company and not some shipping broker , Anyone shipping a cab would ask how you plan on getting it off their trailer , Is it on a pallet and strapped down , When shipping anything LTL (less than load) it's best to have it delivered to the shipping depot and have it delivered to your local shipping depot and be prepared to pick it up . IF it is in LA post up a thread asking if there are any members down there that can check it out before shipping it all the way to NY , Good luck !

Whats the address in La? google the address and see if the street picture matches whats posted in the part picture ? it looks like there are a bunch of doors sitting next to the building in the picture of the cab . it's not going to be cheap shipping from La to NY with todays fuel prices probably $2.50 + a mile

I tried the NJ number and didn't get an answer but left a message.

If this is all a scam it is crazy how well they do it. They sent me an oder# and confirmation.

They were going to take care of the shipping and said they could ship to my address.

They had brand new shortbeds for sale I enquired about. 3,000 and cheap shipping. I bailed out. To good to be true

Yeah, I think I was just to excited about getting a decent cab for my rust bucket, I had blinders on. The only smart thing I did was I went through paypal linked to my credit card. The credit card company is going to go after them.

Both domain names created not even a year ago, not sure how much I would trust it.

I just checked it out on maps the address exists and it identifies as Hendersontruckparts ..... PM me a cell # I'll go and take some pics knock on the door see what I can find out without giving them any info as to why Im there....to be continued.....hope I can help

Open a dispute with pay pal. You should be able to get your money back.

Thanks again for everyone's help. I should have come here first before paying. The guy from NJ called me Saturday morning and told about the scam. It's weird how they picked a small business to go after, but I guess that's the way to make the scam work. This kind of crap kinda makes you hate the world we are now in.

The good news is, my credit card company has reversed the charges and has made a claim.

Just an update: Henderson is now posting on Craigslist. He is listing as being located in Michigan City, Michigan. The phone number is one that is plastered on numerous sites.

The scammers do not give up!
