I don't have the measurements you're looking for... sorry... but if you're planning to compare apples to apples, you'll want to measure from the fender lip to the bottom lip of the wheel, and then know what diameter wheel it is. Or, you need to measure from the lip to the center of the hub. The reason is, for one guy running 275/60-15's and another running 255/50-15's with the same suspension parts, you're going to get significantly different measurements.

Kenneth

ps. I'll try to get you some measurements when I get a chance.

27" in the front, 28 1/4" in the rear. 275-60 tires all the way around with 8" wheels. 2 1/2" spindles 1" springs on the front and 6" springs with relocated shocks and track bar in the rear. This is a big block with a/c.

very nice fellas.... you have those old pickups nice and low.... thats the way they oughta be.... can you believe mine measures out at 36" in the rear and 32" in the front.... way too high (above stock height even).... been wanting to lower it for quite sometime.... finally going to do it.... the problem i have is i bought a pair of bfg drag radials that are about 30 inches tall so about as low as i can go in the rear is maybe 4 inches.... its either that or i can maybe sell the tires and lower it 3/5.... i dont know what to do

Here are mine...

18.5 front (fender lip to bottom of wheel)
20.5 rear

with 17" wheels

Or... since everybody appears to be doing this the hard way...

21.5 front (fender lip to ground)
23.5 rear

with 255/50/17's (and I saved you the trouble of trying to figure out how tall the sidewall of a 255/50/17 is... 3").

My 68 beater is 26" (front & rear)@ top center of wheelwell to ground. I run 215/75-15's in front & 275/60-15's in the rear. 2.5 drop spindles w/1 coil cut in front(5") & 2600# air bags in back(6-7" depending on air psi).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
