The 2 rear ones are original. The front ones are factory Buddy Buckets from 67-68.

Re: Id like to see your INTERIOR pics

I got my fiberglass panels at Lowes. The panels are textured on one side and the side that is supposed to be installed against the wall is smooth. I installed the panels with the smooth side showing. The material does have a gel coat type of coating and I think they could be easily painted,if fact, that was the plan for mine but the wife liked them unpainted. The material is not cheap and the Suburban roof is wider than four feet so the panels must be installed sideways. I belive it took 3 or 4 pieces.

Re: Id like to see your INTERIOR pics

If I remember correctly they were about $35.00 per sheet and I must have done mine with three sheets because the total was around $100.00.

Re: Id like to see your INTERIOR pics

I agree with Mike409,getting them off did not pose a problem but you do have to be EXTREMELY careful...they are quite brittle. The metal covers on the ends are kind of a pain too,,,again be patient. By far the toughest part is getting them back on. I filed the groove in the back side of the bow open a little bit which made them snap on without so much force needed. I have not had any problems with them coming off after filing. I hope it works out as easily the second time since I have to remove my headliner again to install a rear air unit and the related wiring which runs overhead.

Re: Id like to see your INTERIOR pics

You have no idea!!! We are installing front and rear air so we will be gutting the dash, removing the grill, front bumper, right front fender and removing most of the left side inside trim to run those super long A/C hoses to the rear unit. Cutting the vent holes in the freshly painted dash should also be fun. We are expecting a new baby in January and the wife says the baby will need A/C next summer. Wish me luck........please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
