I'm in serious need of a new dash and was wondering what so the best place to get one, I've seen them on summit and lmc truck in different variations ( vinyl or urethane) and I was wondering what one was the best one for my money

Re: Best OER dash replacement??

my upholstery guy put a urethane dash cap on mine as opposed to replacing the entire dash this glues over the existing dash it looks great and works well and is a lot cheaper

That's quite a lot more than the two options I have already, I was wondering if anyone here has used the summit and or lmc ones an what they thought of them

Stay away from the urethane ones..They are like a wet linguine. I have the padded one from Classic Industries. It's pretty nice but they only come in black.

I'd get a vinyl one vs. the urethane too. Heard reports that the urethane can look wavy and is not very solid when comparing to the OEM one.

Dashes Direct is good or either of these two, I believe.

I replace mine with a NOS one.....
