Exclamation 04 tahoe swap....manifold question

I have an engine out of a 04 Chevy Tahoe i will be installing in my 68 stepside. I noticed the manifold that came with the engine has two holes for sensors? one towards the front and one towards the back. the back hole is for the sensor pressure but i have no idea what the hole on the front top of the manifold is for. I tried looking up the new dorman manifold for the vehicle and it doesn't have any sensor holes on top. can someone explain this. thank you

If you look at the mount where your sensor is on the rear....you should have the same thing in that empty hole up front. Looks like someone needed one.

you can sort of see what I'm talking about in this picture.

Your intake is broken. I have seen that mount break off before. Another truck intake shouldn't be hard to find and are pretty cheap.

The MAP sensor is located on the back of the Dorman replacement intake.

^^This^^. I think Amazon has the Dorman intake for less than $300, but a used truck intake can be had for next to nothing.
