Re: D52 Caliper Rear Disc Brake Brackets

Idid the conversion using these brackets and the brake booster adapter and now I can't figure out what to do about the pushrod.
The one on my 63 isn't long enough and when I adjust it all the way out it doesn't allow the master cylinder to close all the way which causes my brakes to drag and eventually lock up after about 6 miles.
Any suggestions?

Can you clarify... if it's not long enough how can it possibly keep the MC applied? You can get replacement pushrods on ebay.

My factory pushrod isn't long enough to properly engage the mc.
I fabbed up several longer rods but when I get the size that works properly it pushes in on the mc slightly which eventually causses the brakes to load up.
Iv'e been at it for a week now. I've shed a few tears on this one..
