yeah, it would be nice to know (though I'm not worried about it). I'd suggest posting something about it in the LSx swap section of the forum.

Re: Ackattack's Pro touring restoration thread

You may addressed this but I just found this thread. The whole lt1 rear disc breaks, did you use the factory bracket and what rotor did you use. The lt1 has 4x4 3/4 bolt pattern not the 5x5 correct? I seen this conversion in car craft or hot rod and thought cool (cheap) way to rear discs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not really

I finished up my MBA in January and got a new job as an Engineering Manager so we just moved last week. The house we'll be renting for a year only has a 2 car garage so I won't be getting any new projects and since my Chummins is essentially done, I'm hoping to do a few upgrade/fixes/improvements on this truck.

One thing I have to do is replace an A/C fitting. Apparently the fitting rubs on the frame with the engine movement, so it wore a hole in the fitting, so I don't have A/C.

Re: Ackattack's Pro touring restoration thread

Hey! My old hometown! It's nice there, good schools. If you're lookin' to buy, look at the neighborhood off the NE corner of 53rd and Meridian. 1 acre lots, hardcore motorsports neighborhood. I still have some friends that live there. Nearly everyone has a shop out back and does wheels and motor stuff. Rio Vista Estates, on Meridian just south of the river is that way also, just not as big of a lot. Congrats on the new gig!

Re: Ackattack's Pro touring restoration thread

A little update:

As I posted earlier we moved into a rental house back in July. The 2 car garage was pretty small and I could barely get my 68 in the garage and it was a pain. I didn't drive it once it was parked in the garage. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and we bought a house. The house has a 4 car attached garage and a shop.

I got the 68 moved over to the new shop:

The truck looks a little lonely sitting there all by itself. I got all of my equipment into the garage and still have some organizing and setting up to do before I'm ready to go to work.

The 68 needs a few things like a new power steering gear box, the A/C line fixed, and a temp sensor. I'm hoping to get it out and drive it more too!

The heated shop is 52x42 and it has a heated "rec room" thats 16x42 with a bathroom! It also has a 36x42 pole barn attached to it.

Re: Ackattack's Pro touring restoration thread

When I looked at the pic of your truck all by itself in the shop, I thought, "Wow, that shop is huge." Then I read the dimensions, and laughed because I am building a 40x50 shop right now. Very nice!
