cross member swap and steering placement

Hi folks, I have been away for a bit to bring you up to date I have a 63 C10, I installed a front cross member from an 83 c10 giving power steering and front disc brakes, the swap in general was a piece of cake, all but two bolt hole lined up and it is secured, The tie rod on the drivers side is where its going to be, the passenger side is yet to be bolted to the chassis. what is the prescribed way to find the location to bolt the Hanger to the passenger side frame rail, I figure I would clamp it in place and check for clearance as I move the wheels left and right, then when I get that weld the steering adaptor to the shaft ( Capt. Fab),, kindly direct me Thanks
