Re: Cab cover

Are you talking about something temporary? Or are you considering keeping the cover on it while parked?

Re: Cab cover

Yes a cover that can be used when parked. To keep the elements at bay, sun, rain redwood needles.

Re: Cab cover

Yes something like that! Not sure if that one is waterproof. Was thinking maybe a riding lawnmower or a big bbq cover or one made for 67-72 cabs. Sure that other’s have something like that?

Re: Cab cover

It seems like a custom thing. I like it, good idea. I think a lawnmower or BBQ cover would not look very attractive, but you could probably hand sew your own cover from a high quality tarp or get some local help with the sewing from an auto upholstery shop. It looks like the straps hooking into the fenders would be all you need to keep it on. You would need to use UV resistant materials.

Re: Cab cover

Yes good points.maybe just a couple of straps through the door handles or to the door bottoms, something similar. Guess a quality car cover company. Just thought someone might have one with an opinion.

Re: Cab cover

Maybe a bike cover? Not sure how "professional" looking you want. Was doing some stuff on the bike and remembered this thread. So here you go. Made by Bilt for sport/touring bikes with windscreen & bags. Good luck with your hunt.

Re: Cab cover

Have one for my 75 that had a camper on it at one time. Have another on a class c motorhome to block off the front windshield and doors. Think you could just get a piece sewn on backside for rear window. Check it out am sure you could look them up on line.
