WTB soft top like this.

Hey members, check out the soft top on this K5.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6154

I think that is the best-looking 1st gen soft top I have seen. I would like to get one complete with rail angles and top bows.
I asked the owner for info. Any assistance in locating manufacturer would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You'll have to get it custom made. I have heard of guys on CK5 taking their trucks and an old top to a boat top maker and having them made in canvas & sunbrella, etc. I've heard guys say they spent over $1000 on the custom top. That is a lot considering you can get a brand new top from Specialty Top Co for around $600.

I bought a Bestop brand about 10 years ago for my 69 Blazer that looked just like that. You unsnapped it along the top of the windshield and then laid it down toward the rear gate. It worked great, and you could even roll up the sides and rear and leave the top part up. I do not remember where I ordered it from, but then it cost about $350. If I can remember anything I will let you know.

I have a white Bestop in my basement that was never used......... I had bought it for my daughter. Don't think she even remembers me having it.
