Angry '67 k2500 muncie trouble

I have got 2 SM420 with the same problem of jumping out of 2nd gear under load. Is it something in the synchro causing this and does anybody know where in Canada I can get parts for these. All the used ones seem to have the same problem. The on I just took out works fine except 2nd gear and probably a bearing kit.

You could try calling Anaheim Gear, they specialize in manual tranny rebuilding and parts. I think they offer an upgrade for the gear slipping out problems that are common to the sm420/sm465:
