This won't help much as the company is no longer around but this is what I put on mine 10 years ago. They automatically come down when the door is opened They were made by Kodiak.

Yes! Thank you!

I like the nerf bars because sounds like they mount to the frame. Guess I'm wary about drilling into the body/floor.

Still open to anyone's advice.
