Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!

Here are mine that I had "Truckseats" make covers for. I got the idea of the two tone green from the set shown on post #46 of this thread.

Price was right. Now decide how you want to restore them. Looks like you may need some foam but when you are finished you should have close to what a bench would run you. Plus personally "buddys" cured that feeling you get from our traditional bench seats after 3 hrs of driving. So win win for you. Enjoy them and let us know your intent and final outcome.
I will be redoing them just not sure what pattern. I will paint or powder coat the frame

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!

There is a set out of a dodge on ebay for $869.00 , I've reupholstered 3 sets for my neighbor and he paid $850.00 for 1 and a $1,000.00 for another ! With bad covers on them ! Around here in east TN they sell for big money in any condition , They do sit low in the truck and may not work so well for the shorter guy's , I'll post some pics of my neighbors seats later today .

These frames would be easy to reproduce.......all I need is an original frame and I will make ten sets!

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!

I just purchased a set of these seats but they are missing the adjustable tracks and the center seat is in pieces. Does anyone have good pics of the base and bottom of the center seat? Thanks

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!

I picked up this other set of dodges at a local yard for $20. the seats console and frame are nice except the covers and the lower ds foam could use some work.
one day they'll get redone and put in the kids truck but he has a sweet bench seat so were in no hurry.

one question though do the chevy covers fit on the dodge seat/foams?
if not were are you guys getting the dodge covers?

Idkw but i also picked up these other two buckets from a early ram charger for a extra $10 even though they are not buddys i thought they looked vintage enough too snatch'm up for a side project.
