Advice on Hoses/plugs after heater delete.

Hey all,
Working with 72 C10, V8 350. Removed the heater/Blower and all hoses, no AC here. Wondering if you all would be so kind as to look at how I have the holes plugged and stuff to make sure this setup will not be any issue with overheating, etc. Basically I just capped at the water pump and top of manifold, both circled in pics. So I just have one hose to manifold and one to water pump. Would it be better to just run a small hose to the two circled ports? Thank you in advance.
