CL Find - Nice C50, dressed in all black

Not mine. It looks like it's sporting a Custom Deluxe interior trim level too

Re: CL Find - Nice C50, dressed in all black

I have never seen a C50 to C70 that had all the fancy trim. That is a cool rig! I have had a goal to build one for a Race Hauler for quiet some time. I had planned on white but i think that one changed my plans. I want to build one and eventually retire my 24v 03 crewcab dodge and put the running gear in it. It would be cool to pull the Blue Truck with it.

Re: CL Find - Nice C50, dressed in all black

I've never seen this interior in a MD either. I've seen "Custom" trim but maybe all I've looked at were pre-72. Those didn't get the fancy vinyl door panels or seat upholstery. Was this swapped-in or did GM give Custom Deluxe features when 10-40 Customs became base level? The Customs got outside appearance upgrades...large window, trim on glass, chrome grille, but interiors were still plain

The shift pattern placard seems to be installed in a strange location, drivers side door?

That is where they are located on the larger H, J and MH Chevy and GMC trucks (like in my avatar).

The strange thing to me is why it has a bow in it like it does ??

Re: CL Find - Nice C50, dressed in all black

It's at least 189,xxx miles based on the odometer digits placement & looks like a repaint but hard to tell just from pics. The placement of that card seems off as it covers one of the screws partially & usually aren't covered from factory on the ones I've seen. Sweet truck, just $5000 too much for a big truck.

Did 71/72 medium duties still use the 69/70 fender badge and put the engine badge under it?
