Is that a generator I see sitting where the AC compressor would go!?

Those are nice. I'd drive mine without hubcaps before I'd pay that kind of money, though.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto...499758034.html

1967 Chevrolet K 10 8 ft. long bed, 1/2 ton pick up truck.
Rare 292 straight six cylinder with optional oil bath intake, four speed manual with granny low, manual steering, drum brakes, 23,100 original miles.
Original paint, mechanically runs perfect as everything has been inspected or rebuilt from the radiator to the rear end.
NO ROT on this well preserved 67 and the original paint has a nice patina, with all the original little dings. The interior is in original and super clean condition, with original build sheet inside glovebox door, and the doors open and close like new.
Just finished oak wood bed replacement with raptor coating on the side walls.
I have boxes of new replacement parts (doorhandles, wing windows, window seals, emblems, etc.) if one is inclined to invest in paint.
I have all the original documentation from day of purchase.

My plan was to continue the restoration and enjoy driving this truck around town on the weekends. I am entertaining making an exodus from CA, and the old pick up doesn’t fit the move. I am not in any hurry to sell this truck, so if you are not serious, save the petty lowball offers.
Asking $25k cash sale ONLY, not interested in trades, I have plenty of boats, cars, trailers, and motorcycles to liquidate as well.

The SPID posted on CL looks like a reproduction. The font seems off and the sticker looks new. I definitely could be wrong.

72 K20 $18,500. Another work truck thats not mine. This one has the same compartment layout on both sides of the box. The ad says factory service box, but it's not listed on the SPID. Wouldn’t it show as a cab chassis?
If my old man was still around he wouldn't believe the price. I would bet it's 10 times what he paid for his back in the day.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...504587984.html

Factory service body truck with original paint! Nice patina. Truck is a 4x4 transfer tank works great. Runs and drives could use a tune up, has been a farm truck.

Possibly open to trades

Nice looking truck but @ $125k I would expect the motor, transmission/transfer case and differentials to be totally rebuilt not "serviced" But they did hammer the point home that they painted the inner fender wells.

This truck is really great and if I were to get a K model it would be like this one. I however wouldn't have pulled the six to put a used 2 barrel 327 in its place. A 292 would be way cooler.
I also don't understand the ad. Out of dozens of photos not one of the dash. Photos of the fake documents seem more interesting to the seller. Does it have a complete set of seat belts? Why only lap belts? Why does it look like the air vents have been removed? And what about the wiring harness hanging from under the dash? Looks to be the light switch. Obviously the truck has been put up for sale before the finishing work is done, yet they claim " The truck starts right up, purrs and drives great. The brakes are very sharp and you can turn the power steering with one finger."
At this price point I'm not a buyer but the alarm bells in my head are ringing.
All this is my opinion of course and that doesn't hold much water.
