WTB 88-94 Hand Throttle Set Up

I would prefer a complete setup, but would consider pieces depending on what you have... Shipped to 65584

Re: WTB 88-94 Hand Throttle Set Up

I expect these are rarer than hens teeth. I ordered my '92 with everything and anything I wanted to make it as real a truck, as connect to the past, as mechanical, and for comfort and this option I never noticed when we went down the list. I never knew there was such a thing till I saw this thread. Was this offered on light trucks or was it a medium duty thing? where did you discover this set-up? Have you checked with GM? I would think spare inventory would not have depleted with it being such a rarely used option.

I found this under the light duty section. As far as I can tell, medium duty had a pull, twist and lock PTO style cable. I never had seen one in person either. Only the common pieces are still available though GM. As far as I can tell a few parts interchange with 73-87 stuff. But the bracket (#2) is different for sure.

That's neat. I would have ordered this on my '92 for sure, had I noticed it. I tried to order it as much the same as I could have ordered a '72. I wanted all the trucky stuff along with the top trim with a retro vibe. Always wanted a winch on there, too. I had a loaded to the hilt '72 K/20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper at the time that influenced me
