Question What gauge size?. 2 1'16"

Hey guys,
I'm thinking of replacing my bottom row of gauges with Auto Meter mechanicals. Are the 2 1/16" a direct fit?. Also how would a clock be wired up in our trucks?. Thanks

Not sure of the size, but the sun pro tripple guage set that you can get at auto zone fit right in there. As for the clock, just run a wire to a full time 12 volts...fuse box should be fine for this.

Thanks Andy!,
Most of the triple sets are 2 1/16" so I should be ok.
BTW- I hope your new job is going good!

The job is going OK, thanks for asking. Little crappier than I remember, but it'll do for now.

I put a set of VDO gauges in the bottom.. mainly so I could get a decent looking clock in there

Your gauges kick @ss!. Racedevil, your tach is sweeeeet. Was it hard to install?. Zkast, where did you get VDO gauges?. That's the exact look I'm after.

What size tach would it be for the center gauge?
Are the original sensors and wiring still usable?

No, you have to use the sensors that come with the guages. You can't even use the dash lights.

You could use them, but a real pain to wire up.

70c10, the tach fits tight in the factory bezel. One member actually mounted behind the factory lens. I dunno who it was though.

I bought those 4 lower gauges from Napa if I remember right...
Gas gauge is out of a 81 LeSabre and then the monster tach. Tach slid right in, I was amazed at how close it fits.

Although I did hack my I/P up pretty good. I wired in new lights and wiring harness for it then installed a 15pin bulkhead connector for the body harness. All that because I wanted a clock and a tach lol.
