I was trying to remember as it was a few years ago on my 71 4wd that I pulled the small block and dropped in a 454 and just had to use big block mounts as they were a bit taller and still ran the big distrib, but you never know what someone else does to modify something before you get it. The frame mod is easy if you can weld.
