Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Farm Fresh Silverado

Agreed. Actually more fun to see each incremental step than a big leap ahead where you miss out on the details.

Re: Farm Fresh Silverado

Awesome, good to know!

Had to shave some of the factory speed holes so the driveshaft notch would sit on the crossmember nice. Not perfect, but it’s either getting covered or cut off anyway.

Re: Farm Fresh Silverado

Finally feel like I might be getting some where. Still a long way to go though.

Re: Farm Fresh Silverado

It's funny that you mention the factory speed holes. I think you did a clean job of modifying the crossmember. Many would have just cut through the holes and welded the new piece in. And looking at your pictures, I was already thinking about the crossmember in the far back, that it has always looked cool to me with the 4 round speed holes.
