Starts every time unless....help will be much appreciated!!

I have a new battery, alternator, and voltage regulator. The truck starts great every time unless I plug my phone charger in to the cigarette lighter. If I do this, then it does NOTHING when I turn the key to start it after shutting it down. I can't jump even jump it. All I can do is start it by rolling it and popping the clutch (4 speed manual) with the key in the run position. Anyone else had this issue? How'd you fix it? Thank you in advance.

I would say the cigarette lighter probably hooked up wrong. Trace your wiring and see how it is hooked up.

Sounds like a wiring issue....

I would just build a new circuit, fuse protected, to mount the accessory charger port....

You could simply remove the power wire from back of cig lighter and run new fused hot wire the the old cig lighter....

You will spend forever trying to find the wiring error by previous owner or mechanic.

I had a similar issue.
My fix was a poor connection,
On the plastic insulator block,
on the passenger side fender,
The one above the battery.

Your's sounds like more than that.
Wouldn't cost anything to check it though

It sounds to me like a custom kill switch.

Now that you mention that, I remember someone on here doing that.

Wired my kill switch through the lighter. It functions just the way you say yours does with the phone charger. Charge phone in home over night!

I was going to say the lighter is not hooked up right. But that's a great security idea. I don't even have a vehicle charger for this phone. I always charge it at home.
