The clunk under your feet makes me think of the shackle bushing in the frame, has it been replaced?

The factory rally wheels punched out to 16s that Stockton Wheel produces. I'll run the plastic caps until I hunt down a nice set of NOS.

This was missing on the other tailgate rod. That's the tailgate rattle.

Has anybody else experienced a clunk at the driver's feet that they figured out. Again, I can't find any suspension contact or such. Seems to show up with any flex (turn, bump, etc). The driveshaft isn't it. It's not a little clunk. It's solid.

I assume that the cab supports are good and rust free? On my cab I had a metallic noice when flexing. It was the front cab support that was loose from the floor board, spot welds had kind of rusted away. So the cab floor was separating and hitting the support when rough terrain or flexing was there. New supports and spot welds fixed that. But I doubt that is what it is with yours....

1974 K10 does it any time I experience flex or hit a bump.

Figured it out. It's in the actual leaf pack. There's some shifting. Had somebody pull it apart, lube the leaf friction inserts, clamped down the leaf clamps a little tighter. Clunk gone.

Almost done. Still getting the clock, the fuel gauge sending unit and rear wheel spacers lined out. Then we're done. Just got all the rest ordered today. So probably the end of next week for all to be done.

They look better as 16's, I'd be tempted to run them without trim rings. Great choice.

The trim rings make them pop. I drove a few days without them. Trim rings are definitely better.

Last couple of items. The steering pump whines when it gets warm. Waiting on the new NOS quartz clock.

Any suggestions on the steering pump?
