Re: Hooker Blackheart 1967-72 C10 Truck LS/LT Swap System Info Thread

toddoky. I went with the Blackheart setup straight out the back and I am now wondering what I could do to tuck the end pieces up in the rear step fenders some more so they can't be seen. When you stand at the side of the truck you can see the tailpipe too much between the rear of the step fender and the bumper. Can I get the end pieces only to have a local shop bend them (without a hanger)? Maybe I should have just ordered the ones that go out the side and modified them. Thanks for any help

Re: Hooker Blackheart 1967-72 C10 Truck LS/LT Swap System Info Thread

The components are all run to build complete systems, so there is nothing left over to offer as individual parts once the production run gets boxed up and placed on the shelf.

I'm not aware of any aftermarket exhaust manufacturer that offers individual system parts for sale, but I can see where that would sometimes be of benefit to an end user such as yourself.

A competent fabricator can build you any sort of tips you want from U-bends; complete custom exhaust systems are fabricated that way in great numbers.

When did you order your kit? And how long did you have to wait??
