Question Stock Rim Width, Lug Pattern, and Size?

Can anyone help me out. I got my truck on an S10 frame so I need wheel adaptors so I wanted to know the lug pattern (I thought it was like 5x5 but I now think its some 6 lug pattern) and then are they 15" or 16" rims stock and what is the rim width.

Thanks a ton guys!

Re: Stock Rim Width, Lug Pattern, and Size?

Sorry I didn't clarify specifically 1947-1955 AD Pickups.

Specifically 1950 GMC 1/2 Ton. I assume its almost the same for any of them.

Re: Stock Rim Width, Lug Pattern, and Size?

If you went to the trouble of putting the truck on an S-10 frame why would you want to put stock rims back on it?

AD truck rims came in 16 and 15 inch depending on the year and equipment.

The S-10 has 5 0n 4-3/4 bolt pattern and the AD trucks had 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern.

I went through five pages of billet wheel adapters on Ebay and didn't find one that went from 5 on 4-3/4 to 6 on 5-1/2.

If you need wheels and adapters You might look at a wheel company like Wheel Vintique http://www.wheelvintiques.com/ that sells new wheels that you can use an original looking hubcap on.

I don't know if the small truck hubcaps will fit on the car rims from the early 50's but that might be an option to check out. I assume you want the early looking rims to run stock small AD truck hubcaps.
