Just keep a close eye on the fuel press. under wide open throttle , and go easy on the timing. I have to say that once you drive a boosted car nothing else compares !

Whereabouts in Michigan are you located (roughly)?

I'm really considering doing those welds on my trailing arms... I just wonder how much of a difference it will make

There is only about 4 factory spot welds holding them together. I saw a post awhile back where someones had rusted and came apart! I probably should have welded the seam on the top & bottom, I only did the top.

Not much has happened lately. I'm getting ready to start a new job. The cash flow has been pretty slim here for awhile.

Thanks. It would have to be a case life or death for me to get rid of this truck. I plan to start work back on it real soon! Drive shaft, cab mounts, paint the bottom of floor & fire wall and then cab can go back on for the last time.

Re: Project 69 Blown Gasser!

Taking that outer roof skin off sure makes that inner panel repair a lot nicer. Great work!

Re: Project 69 Blown Gasser!

Nice! How did the roof fit and which brand did you use?
Cool pedal Idea. I am 6-1 and might steal the idea from you...

I don't honestly remember what brand the roof was, but it did fit nicely.

3/4 - 1" off the pedals will surely make a difference.

Re: Project 69 Blown Gasser!

Finished with the installation of the top. Started body work on the back of the cab. I want to spray the bottom of the cab floor so I can set the cab back on the frame for the last time! I plan on painting the bottom of the cab body color. Not really worried about stone chips and mud seeing how this isn't a daily driver.
