64,65,66 GMC with factory a/c?

Anybody seen one?
I'd like some pictures of the dash controls and air vent(s).Never seen one.
I have a 65 Chevy,C-10 with air,but the dash stuff won't work on my GMC.
Thanks,Mike.

There is such an animal! I pulled a almost complete setup minus the under dash vents from a FACTORY equipped truck. The 3 pull knobs mount under dash on a piece of angle iron. I'll post a link to some factory drawings when I get to my pc.

A few years ago,I saw some under dash a/c vents for sale, but could not proove they were the real thing.
Obviously,GMC didn't sell very many of them!
I'd appreciate any pics or info you may have.
Thanks,Mike.

The GMC with the V6 were all dealer add on AC hence all vents are under the dash from what I have read and seen.

The GMC fact a/c unit used the same heater & evaporator box as Chevy, same knobs/controls although mounted underdash on a piece of angle-the upper plenum that goes to the former ashtray hole center vent on the Chevy is different, and routes to underdash vents robbed from mid/late-50s Pontiac cars.

Bill's Truck Shop in Courtice Ontario Canada has a 64 GMC Suburban with a Mark IV under dash unit fresh from California that he's selling parts off of. The Mark IV was offered as a dealer installed accessory according to the Silver Book.

The 1964 GMC Accessories book has no listing for A/C.

A 1965 GMC Accessories Order Pad.

Thats what I'm reffering to as factory equipped, not the "one size fits all" knee freezer setups you would usually see. What Pontiac can I find those vents from? I've been searching but have had no luck.

Heres the link to the photos.
