GMC Side window trim - Need help w/placement

I have a set of the 60-63 GMC window trim pieces that go around the Driver & passenger door glass, and have the hardware, but I didn't pull them and don't know the proper placement for the holes. Any help would be appreciated. I couldn't find a pic of a 60-63 to show for reference, but I found one of a 64-66.

Re: GMC Side window trim - Need help w/placement

I saw a 60-63 chevy on here a couple of months ago, was red that had the trim on it. I'll keep looking in the archives. Found it....the trim around the door glass.....

I didn't use the hardware on mine.
I used 3M double sided trim adhesive, and some little plastic spacers, to fasten my trim to the doors.
No holes needed.
Greg.

I have one of these doors without the trim on it so it will be easy for me to snap some pics of the holes with a tape measure for reference. I will try and do so over the weekend and post the pics.

Re: GMC Side window trim - Need help w/placement

I appreciate the offer sigshooter.....I can mount the trim, I just try and do most projects factory specs. The double sided tape sounds like it might be the way to go like greg63 said. Driling 7 holes in each door offers 14 more places for water to seep in. If anybody has any reference on this, I'd still like to see it.

Did you put the spacers in the trim and then apply the tape to the spacers?
