Re: Hood poppers

Thanks Frank, payment has been sent via PayPal. My hood is currently stuck shut after replacing my factory popper with a remote latch popper. My latch bolt must be misaligned and catching. PITA. Once I finally get her open, installing the hood popper is one of the first things I’m going to do!

Re: Hood poppers

Hi Frank -

Got mine in just a bit ago - thank you!

Though I cannot close my hood with it installed and I gave it a really good try at closing too. What step am I missing - is alignment of the hood required of some kind? When I first put it in, the spring just kind of turned and turned and was loose/floppy. There was no more tighten I could do down into the hood.

I know the sheet say don't use the nut... not sure what to do now.

Re: Hood poppers

Never mind me, I am a idiot that cannot read. "Don't use Nut" means remove it and don't use it! Not that you aren't supposed to touch it or something for adjustments. Remove completely before installing pooper! Doh!

All good now.

Re: Hood poppers

All ordered poppers have been mailed. Tracking should be provided by USPS-if-you provided your email.

NOTICE: Hood Poppers are "on hold", while I design a new GEN II model. Finding & Fitting components that will work together is a bit of a challenge. Got to cut down on all the labor! Of course, I will let you know. Thanks, Frank
