$5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

Please respond in thread. Paypal preferred. $5.00 plus shipping.

1-Crossmember from a '72 3/4T Chevy. The extra bracket on the front was for an after market cruise control. "SOLD, bobthecop"

2-One or both heater boxes. Flapper works on the metal box with a cable attached.

3-Wire harness from a 72 3/4T(only truck I parted???). Not sure exact application but plugs into firewall. Wire is still soft and end connectors appear to be all there. (Correction 3/25/07. This may be from a 68 GMC front clip that I purchase a year ago) "SOLD Bob Moore"

4-Steering column brackets from an automatic. Most inside and outside pieces. "SOLD, 68chevylwb"

Re: $5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

Roger if you take the heat tube on my other post. Just add a combined shipping of $8.00. I'll package the brackets and the heat tube in a USPS priority mail box instead of fedex as I stated in my other post.

qksilver same thing add $8.00 for priority mail shipping.

Can you point out the extra bracket that you're talking about? Has the crossmember been torched off or was it taken off with a grinder?

Re: $5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

Rob, the piece is a bolt on bracket. If you see the first pic just to the left of the drive shaft opening you'll see two bolts and nuts. On the second pic the bracket is just to the right of the opening. It is the lighter colored galvanized "L" shaped metal. I could unbolt it if you like.

I ground the rivet heads off to remove the crossmember. Don't have a torch. The rivets are still there, you could see them in the pics. You need to grind them more and pound them out.

Re: $5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

The harness is appears to be a forward lamp harness for a 67/68 GMC because it has no side marker lamps.

If qksilver passes put me next in line. Thanks - Bob

Re: $5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

Bob, you may be correct. The only truck I parted was a 72 3/4T chevy but I did purchase a 68 GMC front clip a year ago and this may have come from that clip. Thanks for catching that.

qksilver, I'm sorry for the wrong description, I have corrected it above.

Re: $5.00: Carrier bearing cross member, heater boxes, wire harness, brackets

I did not want to get qksilver upset but it just looked like no side markers. I can send a harness to qksilver with markers if he needs it. Same price due to the circumstances. Also my brother lives in Martinez and can pick-up parts for me. He has met LJBear out in Grass Valley, Kevin in Winters, and somebody in Pittsburgh(?).

Let me know and I will paypal and get a harness ready for qksilver.

Thanks - Bob

Bob, I already PM'ed qksiver about my mistake and he has passed on it so the harness is yours. You might want to PM him about your harness as he seems to follow his pm's more than the thread.
