Tina Turner passed

Rock queen Tina Turner passed away today at her home in Switzerland at the age of 83. She was once called the hardest working performer in the business.

Another one bites the dust. She had one hell-of-a voice.

And "simply the best" for me. I also liked her music in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

Re: Tina Turner passed

The Herd is thinning out. Let's see this year.... Jeff Beck, Gordon Lightfoot, Tim Bachman I'm sure I'm missing someone.

Rest In Peace Tina. I read she once had the largest audience in R&R history at a concert in Brazil 220,000.

We Don't Need Another Hero was probably the best part of that movie. Gotta agree with you, Boog. Loved 'Simply The Best' and also "The Best."

RIP
