Re: Tools we don't need but can't throw away

Sure looks like a version of an open end ratchet, but the AC logo throws me off. Makes me think it's specific for something related to filters.

My Guess is install/removal of Npt for oil filter stud?
Not sure but it has ac filter service on the side so I’m thinking it’s for the ac lines where the orifice tube goes?

I still use these for my Lathe to Lubricate the headstock bearings and oil holes.
The ones I inherited from my Grandpa I keep safe.

Re: Tools we don't need but can't throw away

I still have a Pennzoil 50w Racing Oil can and a fancy yellow rubber coated spout. I think I still have a 1 gallon tin can from Sears.

I always say I'll never get rid of any tool, but I have an exception. More like piece of equipment. But I certainly would sell before ever throwing any tool away. Someone can use it.

Here's what I sold in March

Yes, at least one. I only buy the miniatures. These came with sewing machines and other machinery that needed occasional drops of oil

Great to see I'm not the only one collecting spigot handles. Maybe I'm not as weird as I thought! (Not sure how that affects what others think, though )

Re: Tools we don't need but can't throw away

I too am not only guilty of not getting rid of tools I don't need but buying tools I don't need. Yard sales and flea markets I'm drawn to them like flies lol. But I decorate with then and some like the drill press from 1905 and the weird hose nozzle from the 20s are somewhat useful. I tried to orient these pics but this site insists you turn your phone to look at it instead lol
