Heartbreaking news about Grumpy Old Man

I received a call this afternoon from Donna, "Mrs. Grumpy" telling me that Grumpy (Kevin) had passed away suddenly late Friday night.

He lived about an hour from me and we had exchanged parts, thoughts, advise, and opinions.

I really have no words to express the shock and sadness this news brings.

Although he called himself "Grumpy" he was kind and friendly and full of stories of his life and the hobby that he so passionately loved.
The times that I was at his home, I had a hard time getting away because he loved to talk about Chevy trucks.

Please pray for Donna and the family as they process their grief in the days to come.
R.I.P. Kevin aka "Grumpy Old Man"

edit: I think that it was actually Friday May 5 rather than this past Friday

Very sad news. "Grumpy" name notwithstanding, he was a great asset on this site and will be sorely missed. Never struck me as being at all grumpy either. R.I.P., Grumpy.

So sad, I am also new to this forum but always got a kick out of seeing his name pop up. He will be missed but mainly from people who knew him. Keep his name in your thoughts and his family in your prayers. That way he will live forever.

Re: Heartbreaking news about Grumpy Old Man

Very sad to read of his passing. Never met the man altho I did visit with him thru the board forums and PMs. Always seemed to be very knowledgeable and personable with regards to his board name. May Donna and Grumpy's family find peace during this hard times.

RIP Grumpy, you will be missed by many.

Nothing more I can add. Prayers for the family and friends. I always enjoyed him chiming in, not to mention he was pretty far along on his truck. He will be missed.

Man that’s a shame, prayers to the family and may God bless him with peace and rest in the afterlife.
He was just mentioning the other day that he was getting close on his 67 short bed.
