Really nice 1971 Suburban

We fell into this Suburban, deal sucks for everyone but long story short I need to sell it so thought I would put a feeler out there. I know things are slow and I may sit on it awhile, I just want someone to treat it like it should be. Initially my old man said you need to come look at this thing it is the cleanest one I have ever seen, I told him they are always rusted out. This one isnt, it is a original owner, stored inside 124k miles. Has a few dings, the rear bumper and hatch got dented by swinging a trailer to wide. The right front rocker is the only rust going through the panel, it needs changed. There is surface rust in front of and behind both rear tires, small spots, less than 4" circles. It had the original motor rebuilt 5 years ago with what the owner said were high comp pistons, then was parked for some reason. The truck fired immediately, runs strong but the carb is gummy and it is hesitant right off idle, I will pull the carb this weekend, get it rebuilt and get video of it running and driving. I drove it home and have put about 50 miles on it, the thing drives fantastically, steering is easy, brakes feel good, took it on the freeway and just cruised. The interior I would call amazing for the age. I have a thread with pics on the site here:

Tomorrow I am going to get it out and take close up shots of any problem areas I see. My opinion is this truck can be daily driven as is. A resto would require very little body work, and besides the one rocker, no panel replacements. It looks new compared to my 68 Camaro. I hate to sell it, but I do not have a place to store it, the time to love it, or a wife who will let me have another rig. I have been told value could be from 3-6k. I think 4k is a fair price, but I am open to what you guys perceive as the accurate value. Its in Utah, ready to go as is, I will get the carb done and can take pics of ANYTHING anyone wants.

Thanks,

Mike
